David Allen Christensen , 87, of Reading, passed away Tuesday January 17, 2023, at Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

Born in Chicago, IL January 22, 1935, He was a son of the late Frank and Adele  (Hylleborg) Christensen.

David received a BS from University of Califonia at Santa Barbara before earning a M.S.Ed from the University of Southern California.

He worked as a teacher, school administrator, lobbyist and real estate agent, .

He was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, Pottstown.

He was preceded in death by his wife Paula (Hopko) Christensen in 2018.

Surviving are 4 sons Tom, Steve, Mike and Alex Christensen; Daughter Kristy Estrada; Grandchildren Hannah, Sage, Sam, Zoe, Ellie, Savannah, Phoebe, Averi and Diana. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday Jan. 21, 2023 from St. Michael Orthodox Church , 109 North Nichols Street St. Clair, PA 17970 with. Rev. Jeff Zias officiating.  Friends may call from 9:00 – 9:45 AM Saturday at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. 2 nd St. St. Clair, with Panachida  celebrated at  9:45. Burial will be in St. Michael Orthodox Cemetery, St. Clair.
