Robert Boris

Robert Bob Anthony Boris, age 75, passed away on February 7, 2026, at Schuylkill Center in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He was born on March 15, 1950, a son of the late Anthony J. Boris and Mary T. Boris.

Bob was a 1968 graduate of St. Clair Area High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Thor, stationed out of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, from 1968 to 1970, and was honorably discharged.

Bob graduated from Kutztown University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and later earned a Master’s degree from Bloomsburg University. He spent his career as a respected educator in the St. Clair Area School District, where he helped countless children as a reading specialist.

In his younger years, Bob enjoyed playing softball, pinochle and loved walking up Wolf Creek.

He is survived by one daughter, Alyssa Eubert and husband Malcom of Pottsville, PA; one son, Kevin Boris of St. Clair, PA; two grandchildren, Dylan and Jackson Eubert of Pottsville, PA; a brother, Joseph Boris and wife Stephanie of State College, PA; a sister, Karen Simodejka and husband John of Harrisburg, PA; and a nephew and niece, Stephen Boris of State College, PA, and Jill Simodejka of Falls Church, VA.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be no viewing. Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, St. Clair, PA, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to www.brucethartfuneralhome.com
